Grand groundbreaking ceremony for the Ya Chuang Automotive Electronics Headquarters Base project

On May 16, 2025, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ya Chuang Automotive Electronics Headquarters Base project was officially held in the Shinzhuang Industrial Zone! Wu Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the Minhang District Committee and Acting District Head; Tan Ruicong, Deputy District Head; Xie Lishu, Chairman of Ya Chuang Group; and other government and enterprise leaders and industry partners gathered at the site to witness this milestone moment.

The project is located in the core area of the Shinzhuang Industrial Zone, covering an area of 14.3 mu (approximately 9,533 square meters) with a total investment of 280 million yuan. As an important strategic layout of Ya Chuang Group, the new base will mainly undertake technological research and development and office needs, building a global R&D network centered on the Shanghai Automotive Electronics Research Institute and radiating to Shenzhen, Taiwan, China, and South Korea.

Tan Ruicong, Deputy District Head of Minhang District, emphasized in his speech that the global automotive industry is currently undergoing profound changes in electrification, intelligence, and networking. Automotive electronics, as the core driving force of industrial transformation, has become a strategic emerging industry. He stated that Minhang District will fully support the development of innovative enterprises such as Ya Chuang and jointly promote industrial upgrading.

In his speech, Chairman Xie stated that with the strong support of the Minhang District Government and the Shinzhuang Industrial Zone, Ya Chuang successfully transformed from an electronic component distributor into an independent R&D company for automotive chips. The automotive electronics headquarters base, which has just broken ground, will become an important engine for the company's future development.

Since acquiring "Tan Mu Semiconductor" in 2019 and entering the field of independent chip research and development, Ya Chuang Group has gradually established a complete industrial layout. In 2021, the company successfully went public. The groundbreaking of the headquarters base marks a new stage in the company's development. After the project is completed, the group will integrate the resources of its subsidiaries to form an industrial matrix with a "distribution + self-research" dual-drive.

As a key project introduced by the Shinzhuang Industrial Zone, the construction of the Ya Chuang Automotive Electronics Headquarters Base will further enhance the industrial capacity of the region. The industrial zone has gathered global automotive industry giants such as Faurecia, ZF, and Joyson Electronics, providing a good industrial environment for automotive chip R&D. In the future, Ya Chuang Group will continue to increase R&D investment, focusing on breakthroughs in the domestic production of automotive-grade chips and assisting in the intelligent upgrading of China's automotive industry.
